MY SIGHTING

THIS IS COMPLETELY TRUE

I am no story writer but will try and describe as best I can the events that took place.

I have never met another para and especially one so stunning and wearing the clothes I think are really sexy.

A dream come true you could say........

It seems strange to have these desires and go through life never seeing or speaking to your ideal woman...this is not my ideal woman...the woman I am with now is my fave person in the world and she is perfectly able bodied.I feel I am very lucky to have met this girl...very lucky indeed, and it brought home a lot of truths about living as a disabled person.

This happened about a 3 years ago and is completely true.

In my past job I was sent on a training course to Morden a few miles outside London.I was not looking forward to being away from my family but It had to be done. There were 5 or 6 of us in a group and on the first day we were shown around the college were we were to be doing our training. It was a big building that had a canteen so naturally at dinner time we all trooped into the canteen for some lunch. It was here that I first saw her.We collected our food from the counter and made our way to a spare table.Out of the corner of my eye I spotted a wheelchair on its own by a table near us.It was a sporty black model ,really cool.I looked around the table where a group of girl college students were sat.None of them "looked" disabled in any way and were all laughing and joking. We were all a lot older than any of the people at the college, the girls looked to be all about 18 to 20 years old.We sat down with our food and began eating but I couldn't take my eyes of the wheelchair or the 6 girls that were sat by it.One girl in particular was really stunning ,long blonde hair, blue eyes and just stunning.I was wishing in my heart that it was her who was disabled (a terrible thought I know and one I am not proud of).One of the girls was looking at one of my friends and we joked that she was going to ask him out on a date.Sure enough 2 of the girls came over and started chatting with me and 2 of my mates. They aked us where we were from and what we were doing in London and all that sort of stuff. While they were talking I couldn't take my eyes of the stunning blonde or that bloody wheelchair..........

The girls asked us if we would like to sit with them as they all had all finished for the day and were having a laugh before they all went home to get ready for a night out.

I am not one to "play the field" (love my family to much) but my mates are so jumped at the chance...dirty sods :).

As we all got up and started to follow the girls to there table was my heart was really beating fast.If one of these girls was disabled it would be the closest I will have been to disabled girl in my life...now that sounds stupid I know but I am trying to convey what I was feeling....As we got closer the stunning blonde looked up and smiled at us all, as did all the girls but she was different.I knew deep down it was her wheelchair, I don't no why but I did.We introduced ourselves and I found out the girls name was Zoe.She was sitting crossed legged and had on a short leather skirt, black tights and a pair of really sexy lace up knee high black leather boots (another weakness of mine!!!!) with a chunky sole. Her blouse was white and she had a leather biker style jacket over the top.Her hands were resting on her crossed leg.I couldn't wait any longer and plucked up the courage to drop the subject of the wheelchair into the conversation.I said to one of the other girls (Jackie ) "is the chair for when you go out tonight and get so drunk you cannot walk home".They all burst out laughing and Zoe looked me straight in the eye and said, "no ,thats mine"..................SHIT ..I do not believe it...I was right.......

I didn't say any more and just carried on with the conversation but all the time I was looking at Zoe's legs. Now I could see why she wore the boots. Her legs were a bit thinner than I had first noticed and I think she was maybe trying to hide the fact by covering them up.It didn't work to well as the skirt she had on as really short anyway so you could see her thighs.

We chatted for about an hour and it was about 3ocklock when one of the other girls said that they should be going. They invited us to go out with them on the night and said they would show us all The cool pubs in the area.I looked at Zoe and said "will you be there" ,she looked at me and smiled and said "sure, I never miss a night out".

God I must have seemed so obvious........

It was time to go and the girls all stood up apart from Zoe.Her friend turned around and brought her chair up to the table.I watched as she moved her hands down her booted leg and sort of pushed her crossed leg of the other leg.Her leg sort of slid down the other leg and hit the floor. Her foot turned over slightly and she pushed herself up in her seat so her legs were straight out before her.....GOD,I was in heaven. She seemed to have a bit of difficulty sitting upright in the seat,as she sat up to a more upright position her legs parted slightly and she seemed to lose her balance a bit.She then pushed herself up and swung herself round into the chair. Her legs seemed to be a part of someone else's body and just flopped over to one side. She then reached down and rather roughly grabbed her legs under her knees and pulled them towards her into a sitting position. She then lifted her left leg then her right, under the knees again and placed them on the footrest (just a large bar going from one side of the chair to the other). She then pulled herself up a bit and grabbed her bag from the table. One of her legs seemed to be a bit lopsided and I noticed that the gap between her chunky heeled boots rested snugly onto the edge of the footrest bar.She then did something I was not expecting. She pulled out a sort of short strap from under he left leg and wrapped it around both legs and secured it to the side of the chair.I was later to learn that she suffered from mild muscle spasms which caused her legs to jump about now and again. The strap stopped them from jumping of the footrest bar, or from jumping apart and "flashing her knickers"...her words not mine.

We said our farewells and made our way to our hotel, with a promise of meeting up with them later...I couldn't wait......

I will continue this story later...and it gets better !!!!!!!

A few things struck me about all this...

1. Its no fun being confined to a wheelchair.

2.The transfer form her seat to her chair only took a very short time.It must take a lot of practice.

3.She seemed to handle her legs very roughly and not carefully as I would have imagined.

Any comments on this would be gratefully accepted.....

If you check out the picture page you will find the only picture of a paraplegic wearing boots that I know of.Unless you know better............
